A Prototype House: Helical Screw Foundations

This residence can be built in any earthen terrain and transplanted. The conventional engineered wood residence is supported on a grid of steel beams propped off the ground on augured steel screw piles. This prototype residence by the designer-developer features an exposed structural aesthetic of parallam engineered post and beam frames with engineered wood infill. Simple , classic monopitch roof creates a feeling of home in any place or terrain for the adventurous weekend or permanent residence.
